The Dallas Center-Grimes basketball boy and girl teams will begin a daunting 2023 schedule in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

There will be very few, if any, night offs for both Mustang basketball squads that starts tomorrow on the road against Norwalk. Then they will get back to back home games against Indianola on Friday and Pella Christian on January 10th. But the schedule gets difficult with five straight road games for the boys team and four straight for the Lady Mustangs. The DCG basketball teams will face very few non conference opponents that only include Ankeny in a boy/girl doubleheader but the boys team will face Ballard and North Polk. The good news for both teams they finished 2022 and the first part of the season with winning records. DCG boys are (5-1) overall and (1-1) in conference and the Lady Mustangs are (7-2) overall and (3-0) in conference.
