A two vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Jefferson results in one injury.

According to the Jefferson Police Department, officers, the Jefferson Fire Department, Greene County Ambulance and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at 3:55pm at the intersection of Highway 30 and Mulberry Street. The investigating officer says the female driver of a car was traveling west on the highway when she hit an SUV that had pulled out and was crossing the intersection heading south on Mulberry Street from Sparky’s One Stop gas station. 

The collision ended with the male driver of the SUV being taken to Greene County Medical Center by Greene County Ambulance with suspected minor injuries. The female driver was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation with the Jefferson Police Department.
