The Dallas Center-Grimes basketball has gotten off to a great start to the season with the help of one valuable player off the bench.
DCG Mustangs carry a (5-1) record into break with their only loss coming from Grinnell at home. Coach Joel Rankin has recognized Jackson Green as a key piece to the team as he keeps coming off the bench and providing quality minutes. Green is averaging 7 points but he has scored at least nine points in their last three games.
“ackson a few times hit some really tough shots, pull up jumpers. And offensively, he’s one of our best shooters and he’s getting better defensively. And you know he he’s definitely somebody that I look to off the bench.”
The Mustangs will look to continue their three game winning streak when they take on Norwalk on the road on January 3rd. The game can be heard on Raccoon Valley Radio.com under the KDLS-2 tab with tip off at 7:45pm
