The Adel Public Library starts the new year with a free special program for youth.
Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says they will have a nerf gun battle at the library from 2 to 4pm Friday, January 6th for children in grades sixth through twelfth. Puck tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they will supply the nerf guns and bullets, and all the children need to do is register.
“Registration will accept up to 25 individuals and at times we may open it up for a few more, but definitely give the library a call or go to our website to register for it.”
Puck explains that the children looking to attend can bring their own nerf gun but it can only shoot six bullets at one time.
