Many communities benefit every month from their food pantries.
Food pantries are always in need of items to give to the community, but they need different things at different times of the year. Viola Jones from the Stuart Cottage Pantry says they’ll take any donations, but that right now there are a few different things they need more than others. Canned soups like chicken and noodle, tomato, cream of chicken and cream of mushroom are something that the pantry always needs.
Jones adds that pancake mix, syrup, egg noodles and fruit juice are another thing that the Cottage Pantry are in need of currently.
