Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements for Kenneth David McDowell, 74, of Perry.  Visitation will
be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family
greeting hours from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home. Funeral services
will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at the First Christian Church in Perry.
David is survived by his wife Phyllis, son Chris McDowell of Des Moines, daughter
Colleen Weir of Perry, grandchildren: Maddi Cross (Avery), Abbi Weir (Taevis),
Sara Weir (Cruz), Riley McDowell, Ashley Sims, Kourtney Harding, and Eli Ballard;
great-grandchildren: Olyvia Orellana, Isaac Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, and Noelle
Sims, sister Kathy Otten (Dennis) of Linn Grove, and mother-in-law Colleen
Paulson.
