A Scranton man was arrested on Christmas Day for an alleged incident.

According to court documents, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a male who entered a home in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton at 3:17pm on Christmas Day. There were eight people inside the home where they witnessed 30-year-old Darren Lehrkamp enter the residence without permission and he was told to leave, which he did. Court documents show Lehrkamp came back with a ten-inch kitchen knife and slashed two tires on one vehicle and one tire on a truck that were both parked in the driveway of the residence.

Court report shows Lehrkamp also drove the knife through the front screen door of the home before leaving again and returned to his home that is in the same block. One of the witnesses video taped the incident involving Lehrkamp, who when law enforcement questioned him about his actions, he denied being there.

Lehrkamp was then arrested and charged with a Class C Felony for intimidation with a dangerous weapon-injure or provoked, a Class D Felony for going armed with intent and an aggravated misdemeanor for third degree criminal mischief. He was booked into the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
