The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow, due to the observance of the Christmas holiday.
The meeting will begin with the oath of office for the elected county officials from this past November’s election. Those individuals include County Supervisors Dawn Rudolph and Dan Benitz, County Attorney Thomas Laehn, County Treasurer Katlynn Mechaelsen and County Recorder Deb McDonald.
Additionally, the Board will consider for approval a Louis Dreyfus funding request from the Grand Junction Library, the construction evaluation resolution for the period of February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024, and several more 2024 fiscal year funding requests with New Opportunities, Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity and the Bell Tower Festival and Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community. Finally, the Board will consider the retirement resolution for County Supervisor Tom Contner.
