It’s the Christmas weekend and several offices and businesses will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday.

The Greene County Courthouse, Greene County Extension Office, Jefferson City Hall and the Jefferson Public Library will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday. 

Library staff reminds patrons that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday. Jefferson residents are also reminded that garbage routes will be delayed by one day and will return to normal schedules the following week.
