The Panorama Panthers have wrapped up the first half of the 2022-23 winter season. Here’s a quick recap of what the teams were able to do so far this season.

The boys basketball season has been a bit of a rollercoaster for the first half of the season. They started the season 0-2 after losses to IKM-Manning and Madrid. However, they would rebound with three straight wins over Earlham, Greene County, and rival WCV. Giving them a 3-2 record heading into a big WCAC game against Interstate 35. It was a back and forth clash that ended in heart break with the Roadrunners getting the win 58-55.

This would lead to another tough loss against rival AC/GC. They would lose that one 53-49. The Panthers would have a chance to go into the winter break with a win and get back to .500. They would have to get through Woodward-Granger to do that. It was a close game the whole way through. Including the Hawks holding slight 34-25 lead heading into the half. But a huge 25 point third quarter helped lifted the Panthers into the win column. They would beat the Hawks, 71-69.

Panorama ends the first half of the season with a 4-4 record and sits at #6 in the WCAC. They’ll be back on the hardwood on the road at Pleasantville.  That game will be Tuesday January 3rd with tip off set for roughly 7:30pm.
