Senior multi-sport athlete Vince Benetti was able to sign his letter of intent on Wednesday at ADM High School, with his intention of playing football at Iowa State University next fall as a preferred walk on.

Benetti was a three year starter for the Tigers, as he put up some major stats every season of his career. In his senior campaign, Benetti was able to put up some major numbers, as he finished with 80.5 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks to his name as well. He was named 1st team all-state through the Iowa Sports Print Writers Association in 2022.

ADM was able finish with a 10-2 season that resulted in a state semifinal appearance. It was the first time that the Tigers made a trip to Cedar Falls since 2011.

Iowa State finished the season 4-8 this past year, but has seen great success under the direction of Matt Campbell, as they have qualified for a bowl game five out of the last six years and were the Big 12 regular season champion in 2020 while winning the Fiesta Bowl in the process. Benetti will look to make an impact in Ames after putting up a tremendous  football career at ADM.
