The Wildcats played host to a cross county rival Tuesday night.

The AC/GC Chargers came to Stuart, and played some good games with West Central Valley. The girls team was able to come out on top in the first quarter, leading 8-5, before the Chargers turned things around in the second quarter and went into the break down 9-23. A tough full court press helped keep the Wildcats from the hoop, but senior Isabella Munoz was able to start breaking the press, and allowing the team to start trying to comeback. Ultimately, WCV was unable to catch up, and fell 21-45.

The boys team kept things close with AC/GC in the first, only trailing 7-9 going into the second. The Chargers picked up the tempo though, and when the first half ended, the Wildcats were down 15-29. WCV was able to score another 24 points in the second half, but ultimately were unable to get caught back up, falling 39-70.
