Guthrie County Farm Bureau announced that one of their agents recently graduated from the Ag Leader’s Institute.

Guthrie County Farm Bureau Agent Steven Hameister attended the year-long training program, to help develop his skills to better help the community. Each of Iowa’s 99 counties nominates an individual every year, and 25-30 of those individuals are selected to participate. Those participants attend four two day sessions from January to March, a summer session, and then a trip to Washington D.C. in September.
