A local in business is making sure Santa Claus gets messages from children but the deadline to get them sent is approaching. 

State Farm in Perry is having a ”Letter to Santa” campaign but the deadline is tomorrow to get any kind of message to them. Insurance Agent Lynn Hulgan tells Raccoon Valley Radio they have a special mailbox open until 5pm inside their business. She explains why they decided to start this. 

“You know, we don’t really have a lot around the area that highlights the opportunity to send a letter to Santa. So we kind of wanted to put something up to give kids an opportunity to see something in person and, you know, put the magic back at Christmas and yeah, send something along the way to Santa.”

She says that people interested in sending a letter in after their business hours can do so by putting it inside their door.
