It was non-conference basketball on the docket Monday night for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers, and they were both were very good with girls winning by the score of 64-41 and the boy by the score of 86-52. The girls move to 6-4 and the boys 4-4 into the holiday break.
The girls got into a battle in the first quarter of play as Perry was able to lead by two, but were able to put up a major 2nd quarter to take a halftime lead and maintain distance in the second half. The bench played a major factor in the game for the Tigers, as they were able to bring some great energy in the second quarter to pull away.
On the boys side, the boys team was able to put up their highest scoring output of the season. Adam Bryte was able to put up a quality evening, as he was able to lead the Tigers in scoring with 26 points.
Both teams will have the next couple of weeks off from game action for the holiday break, with the next game for both teams being on January 3rd when they take on the Carlisle Wildcats at home in Adel.
