The Greene County wrestling program is having some misfortune when it comes to weather and scheduled home meets. Saydel (Des Moines), Interstate 35 (Truro), and Nevada were to have joined the Rams in the high school gym in Jefferson for a quadrangular tonight, but that’s been called off due to the weather. There was no immediate word on a possible make up date. Both dates the Rams were to have been at home this season have been wiped out by weather.
Head coach Zach Beekman told Raccoon Valley Radio the Nov. 29 action that was postponed will be made up on Tuesday, Dec. 20 in Jefferson at the high school. Originally, a quadrangular, Coach Beekman reports it is now a triangular at 6 p.m. with the Rams hosting Van Meter and CAM (Anita).
Greene County features Division I recruits Kale Petersen (Iowa) and McKinley Robbins (Oregon State). Both are undefeated so far this season.
