There are a couple of deadlines approaching for some programs with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

A Grinch Tree Class will be held for 5-12 year-olds at the Greene County Community Center on Wednesday, December 21st from noon-1pm. Participants will make a Grinch-themed tree, along with enjoying snacks and table games. The cost to attend is $30 for community center members and $35 for non-members and this program is provided by Fudge’s Flowers and Gifts.

Another program that is also happening on Wednesday, December 21st is youth dodgeball. This is for kids in first through sixth grades, with first-third from 9:30-10:30am and those in fourth-sixth from 11am-noon at the community center. The cost to participate is $5 for community center members and $10 for non-members.
