PCM defeated Perry 43-31 Tuesday night inside the Perry Sports Pavilion in Heart of Iowa Conference girls basketball.  PCM held Perry to their lowest offensive output of the season.  It was a sluggish night offensively for both teams with a high turnover count in the opening half.  PCM led 12-4 after the first quarter and led 23-19 at halftime.  The Jayettes built a little momentum right before half, thanks to freshman Reagan Baldwin.  The youngster scored 9 points in the second quarter.

Perry cut the lead to 23-21 early in the 3rd quarter but PCM answered with a 12-0 run to put the game away.  Paige Steenhoek led the offense with 14 points while Addison Steenhoek scored 12 points.   Baldwin led Perry with 15 points while Lydia Olejniczak scored 12.

After winning the first two games of the season, Perry has now dropped four in a row to fall to 0-4 in the Heart of Iowa.  They will get ready for a busy weekend traveling to Greene County on Friday before returning home Saturday night to host Boone.

PCM improves to 5-3 and 3-1.
