During their annual meeting, the Iowa Association of Fairs elected one new member to the Iowa State Fair Board of Directors, and re-elected five other members.

Guthrie Center native C.W.Thomas was one of the members that wasn’t up for re-election, though his counterpart for the Southwest District, Gary Van Aernam of Exira was. The newly elected member and re-elected members will continue to work with Thomas on making decisions pertaining to the Iowa State Fair.
