Greene County High School senior Jesse Miller has been named to the Class 2A Academic All-State Football Team in by the Iowa High School Football Coaches Association. Players must have been a senior starter with a 3.70 grade point average or higher on a 4.00 scale. They must be in other activities in addition to football and have been recommended by their head coach.

Miller has achieved at a high level in the classroom and on the football field. An All-District player for the Rams, he committed to play college football on the Division I level as a tight end for the U. of South Dakota in Vermillion. Miller, at 6′ 6″, 220 lbs. was a two-way player for Greene County at tight end and defensive end. He’s the son of Mark & Jennifer Miller. Jesse’s older brother, Tyler, is the starting left offensive tackle for the Iowa State Cyclones.
