The Panorama girls basketball team was looking to improve to 5-0 on the season against heated rival West Central Valley.
It was a crucial match-up as the West Central Activities Conference standings begin to shape. The story of this game has to be the Panther defense. Coming into the game the Panorama defense was only allowing 29 points per game. They dominated in this one. Holding the Wildcats to only 18 points.
The Panther’s offense had a huge day racking up 58 points. Panorama improves to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in conference. After the win Panorama takes the top spot in the WCAC.
The Panthers will be back on the hardwood on Tuesday. That hit to road to Truro to play the Interstate 35 Roadrunners. Tip off is set for 6pm.
