An annual event that took place on Thanksgiving Day recently announced their results.

The Gobble Gobble 5K Run/Walk happened early Thanksgiving Day morning in Paton. About 100 people participated and donated 300 non-perishable food items and $250 to the local Greene County Action Resource Center in Jefferson. This year’s winners included Mike Palmer as the top male finisher who guessed closest to his final race time within ten seconds, while Noah Hinote was the first place finisher for males and Annie Knie was first place for females. 

This was the 12th annual event.
