The West Central Valley Wildcats hosted the Des Moines Christian Lions for their first game of the week. The girls did an excellent job in the first quarter, keeping things tied up at 11, but fell short in the second as the Lions outscored them 17-8 to go into halftime with a 19-28 deficit. The Wildcats outscored the Lions in the third, ending the quarter down 29-37, but only scored four points in the final quarter, falling 33-47.
