The Panorama Panthers basketball teams were in a crucial double-header against Earlham on Tuesday.

The girls were looking to pick a huge West Central Activities Conference win. This was an early season showdown of the top two teams in the conference. Both teams were coming in with a perfect 3-0 record. This was a hard fought defensive struggle. Which wasn’t a surprise given the style of both teams. The Panthers managed to come out on top in a low scoring, 46-42 win. Panorama is now 4-0 on the season.

The boys were looking to get to .500 on the season. They picked up a win over Greene County to improve to 1-2. The Panthers were taking on an Earlham team that was 1-0 coming into this matchup. It was close throughout. Panorama had a one point 14-13 lead after the first quarter. The teams traded buckets in the second and the Panthers held a small 26-21 lead at halftime. Panorama pulled away in the third when they racked up 21 points and this would be enough to give them the win. The Panthers would take this one, 58-48 to improve t0 2-2.

Both teams will be back in action on Friday. They’ll be back at home to play rival West Central Valley. Girls will start at 6pm and the boys will follow at 7:30pm.
