6:03am: Officers executed a Search Warrant at 208 ½ 2 nd Street in Muscatine. The warrant is in connection to the Ellingson Sex Abuse Case. Evidence was seized in the matter. The Muscatine PD assisted Jefferson officers with the execution.

8:25am: An officer was called to the Greene County Middle School to investigate a reported Assault occurring between students. The officer spoke to staff and students involved, or witnesses to the reported assault. The officer is not pursuing a criminal charge in the matter. The school is handling corrective actions against the students involved.

2:15pm: Dan Scheuermann reported a Careless Driver on 220th Street, heading west from Scranton. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.

2:36pm: An officer and the sheriff checked the welfare of a male walking in Jefferson. The subject was found to be fine and allowed on his way.

5:36pm: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of North Olive Street.

7:43pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and 250th Street resulted in Carly Van Hook of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

7:44pm: Oly’s Corner reported a Gas Drive Off from 208 West Lincoln Way Street in the amount of $70.16. The officer is investigating.

9:55pm: Samantha Busch reported a Stray Dog in the 400 Block of North Oak Street. The officer located an owner in the area and returned the animal, with a Verbal Warning for, “Animal at Large.”

10:47pm: A Traffic Stop in the 500 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Christopher Jenkins of Coon Rapids being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.
