The Perry City Council met on Monday.

The Council approved the resolution suspending the slip resistant footwear policy which required employees to wear Grip Lites, a protective measure,  within the personal protective equipment policy. The Council approved entering into a memorandum of understanding for the Iowa Income Offset Program agreement with the Iowa Department of Administrative Services, State Accounting Enterprise, to participate in the program. This program would for any type of debt owed, but it would primarily be used for uncollected municipal infractions.

They appointed five official publications including Raccoon Valley Radio Network and then appointed Carolyn McNeill to be on the Dallas County Early Childhood Education Board and reappointed Chuck Schott as Mayor Pro Tem for the period of January 1 through December 31,2023. The Council omitted regular city council meetings for January 2,2023 and July 3, 2023 due observance days.
