Greene County’s High School football players and managers were honored on Sunday afternoon inside the high school gym in Jefferson. Head coach Caden Duncan and his assistant coaches presented the honors. The Rams were 8-2 overall, champions of Class 2A District 8 at 5-0, and top 10 rated in 2A.

Senior Patrick Daugherty received the Landon Martin Team MVP award, as well as the award for Offensive MVP. Senior Richard Daugherty was named Defensive MVP, with junior Nathan Behne the Special Teams MVP,  Senior Jesse Miller received the Ben Carman Award, going to the hardest working senior. Junior Noah Cornell was named top offensive lineman and sophomore Bryce Habben received the Most Improved Offensive lineman honor. Sophomore Nick Stream was the recipient of the Most Improved Player of the Year, with sophomore Keegan Lawrence presented the Scout Team Play of the Year. The Hard Hat Player of the year was Braeden Turner.

Managers lettering were Brianna Cullum Helms, Sadie Shannon, and Kristin Wailes. All players mentioned above lettered, as did seniors Josh Janssen and Bork Erness (foreign exchange student from Norway), juniors Cody Allen, Logan Butler, Gabe Ebersole, Jack Hansen, Michael Rumley, Gavin Scheuermann, Trey Schilling, Gavin Trecker, and Jackson Turner. Sophomores lettering are Marcus Ball, Crew Conner, Kendall Freeman, Patrick Graham, Camden Jacobs, Kamden Kinne, Nick Stream, and Camden Strennen, Freshmen letter winners are Adam Bills, Chris Daugherty, Phoenix Hartman, Keegan Lawrence, Nick Madsen, and Broc  Stream.
