ADM boys and girls basketball will both be opening up Raccoon River Conference play this evening, when both schools will be making the trip up to Huxley to take on the Ballard Bombers. The ADM girls are 2-1 coming into this game while the boys are 0-1. Ballard girls are 2-0 on the year while the boys will be playing in their first game of the season.

Ballard has seen great success in the series on the girls side, and are great again this year as one of the best teams in 4A and already the owners of a big early season win vs. Dallas Center – Grimes. Turnovers are something that the Tigers are keeping an eye on and try to improve upon, as they had 19 of them on Tuesday.

The boys are coming off of a 48-46 loss in their opening game against DCG, and will be focused in finding a key road conference victory early in the season. The Tigers will be looking for continued good energy, finding more success at the free throw line, and playing with great poise in what is traditionally a difficult environment.
