A fundraiser is happening tomorrow for one Greene County community.

The Friends of Rippey, along with Rippey Mayor Dan Brubaker and the Rippey Fire Department are co-hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser meal tomorrow starting at 8am at the Rippey Community Room. Mayor Brubaker will be serving pancakes and sausage, while the Friends of Rippey will have juice, coffee, milk and fruit available, all for a free will donation. Additionally, kids and families will get to see Santa Claus, as he will be arriving at the community room via transport by the Rippey fire truck at 10am. 

Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase fireworks for the July 22, 2023 Rippey Daze celebration. Organizers say they only need $9,200 after their Halloween meal fundraiser to bring back the same company that was used for fireworks during the town’s Sesquicentennial Plus 1 event near the baseball field.
