The Dallas Center Grimes wrestling squad kicked off the new season with a matchup against Norwalk on Thursday.

The Mustangs won by a score of 44 to 21. Key highlights from the matchup include Ayden Beck winning over his opponent in a fall in the time of 2:51, Logan Gard won in a decision (4-2) and Jacob Fistler won in a fall also in 1:51. DCG totaled five falls and two decision in their matchup against Norwalk.

The next meet will at home for the DCG Invitational on Saturday starting at 10am.
