On Tuesday evening, Raccoon River Wrestling was able to participate in their first ever dual as they took on Johnston in Ankeny, and the program was able to find a nice victory winning by the score of 72-10.
At 125, Calista Rodish was able to win via a fall at 54 seconds working quickly throughout her round. At 190, Aleah Johnson was able to grab a fall at 36 seconds, while at 235 Reese Strachan recorded a quick fall at well at 1 minute 8 seconds.
The program was able to get nine victories via forfeit as well, as they were able to fill out every weight class and compete at every level.
The program will be back in action today when they are over in Coralville participating in the Dan Gable Donnybrook, in a tournament that features the best teams from across the midwest in what should be a terrific challenge for the program.
