A Jefferson man faces charges following an alleged assault incident.
According to court documents, Jefferson Police Officers responded to a call of domestic abuse at a residence in the 800 block of West State Street just after 11pm on November 19th. During the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect, 35-year-old Allyn Case came to the victim’s residence enraged and physically assaulted the victim twice in a matter of minutes after Case left initially and came back, along with destroying property inside and outside of the residence.
An officer saw the suspect running between homes and lost sight of Case. An arrest warrant was then issued on November 20th and Case was taken into custody on November 30th. Case is charged with a Class B Felony for first degree burglary, two serious misdemeanors for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness and two simple misdemeanors for trespassing.
Case was booked and remains in the Greene County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
