Dallas Center Grimes Stuns ADM With Buzzer Beater

Dallas Center Grimes basketball teams win both games in the doubleheader at Adel Desoto Minburn on Tuesday.

It started with the girls game where the Mustangs took control of the game early and led the entire way winning the game by of score of 52-30. The Lady Mustangs held the Tigers to just two points in the first quarter and only six in the second quarter. Aubrey Johansen led the team in scoring. DCG Girls Basketball improves to a record of (2-1) on the season.

For the boys game it ended in a thriller with a last second shot by Hudson Ehlert sealing the game in regulation with the final score 48 to 46. Calix Cahill had 14 points and Ehlert finished with 11 points. The DCG mustangs are now (1-0) on the season.

On Friday, both teams will be home at the Dallas Center Grimes Meadow Gym and they will play conference opponent Grinnell. Raccoon Valley Radio and the KDLS-2 mobile app will be broadcasting live from both games starting at 5:45pm.
