The Perry Toys and Gifts Drive reaches over 100 families each year and the deadline to donate is approaching. 

All donations of toys, gift cards or monetary donations must be submitted by Wednesday. They are looking for toys for both boys and girls and examples include dinosaurs, barbies, dolls, trucks, learning toys and superhero-themed toys. Families that live in the Perry School District can receive these gifts if they qualify through Dallas County New Opportunities guidelines. The deadline to apply for this program can be accepted until Christmas Day.  

Additionally, all donations can be dropped off at the following locations in Perry: Ben’s Five And Dime, Lazy Goose, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, HyVee, Perry Public Library and the Perry Perk.
