A holiday staple is going to be held once more in Adair.
Next Saturday Adair’s 26th Annual Festival of Trees will be held at the Adair Fire Hall. There will be plenty of festivities and vendors to get the Christmas season started off right. The event will take place from 2-8pm, with a display of trees and wreaths, collection for free-will donations for local scholarships and community projects, and a scavenger hunt, all hosted by the Adair Women’s Club and Adair Public Library.
From 5-7pm the Adair Lions Club will have a free-will donation soup supper, with choices of chili or vegetable beef soup, and “Little Big Band” will be playing music. From 5:30-7:30 Santa will be visiting and there will be drawings for Bonus Bucks, plus goodie bags and coloring activities, all sponsored by the Adair Chamber of Commerce.
The Summit Super Stars will be selling cocoa and cookie mixes, Judi Zimmerline will have candy available for purchase, and the Sesqui Committee will be selling merchandise at new reduced prices.
