lyceum-movement

A monthly event is happening at the end of November in Jefferson that brings together adults to think, learn and talk with their neighbors about deep questions of what it means to be human.

The Lyceum Movement will explore the topic of religion and the role that faith has played in public life. Discussions will take place about what new forms are religious impulses taking, what are healthy ways of living in a society with lots of different faiths, and how do great traditions contribute to the common good.

The two guest speakers include Reverend Heather Dorr with the Jefferson First United Methodist Church and Pastor Isaak Wangler with Abundant Life Ministries in Jefferson.

The Lyceum Movement will be on Wednesday, November 30th from 7-9pm at PickAway Americana and Meeting House in Jefferson and tickets are $10 which can be purchased by clicking the link below.
