Sanford Morton, 80, of Jefferson, passed away November 22, 2022.  Interment services with military rites for Sanford Morton, 80, of Jefferson will take place at 1:00pm Sunday November 27, 2022 at Coulter Cemetery, Coulter, Iowa.  Family and friends will gather afterward at the Coulter Community Center. Visitation for family and friends will  be held from 4:00pm – 6:00pm Saturday, November 26, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, Jefferson, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Carole; daughter Jill Morton; and son Chad (Deb) Morton, all of Jefferson, IA; two sisters: Dixie Jurgens of Cedar Rapids, IA and Emelia Tate of Illinois;  four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
