11:25am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near S Avenue.

6:23pm: A deputy investigated a custody issue in the 100 block of 120th Street.

7:05pm: Anthony Nunez 55 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault causing injury or mental illness.

7:10pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on J Avenue near 240th Street.

Saturday, November 19th

5:46pm: The Sheriff, a deputy, Greene County Ambulance, Jefferson Fire Department, and the Jefferson Police Department responded to a single accident on Grimmell Road near Russell Street. Mason Happe 18 of Jefferson struck the Northeast end of the bridge with a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicle was totaled in the accident. The accident was covered by the Jefferson Police Department.

8:05am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

12:48pm: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 1101 Sand Street, Churdan. Evidence was seized from an underage beer party that is suspected in leading to the accident on Grimmell Road in Jefferson. Alcoholic beverage containers, stolen street signs, fake identification card, and tobacco products were seized. Charges are pending.

1:00pm: A deputy investigated an exploitation complaint in the 200 block of West Main Street, Grand Junction.

4:13pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near U Avenue.

4:36pm: A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on 220th Street near 222nd Street. Dalton Ostrander 19 of Jefferson was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado east on 222nd Street. Samantha Knosp 56 of Grand Junction was stopped in front of Dalton at the intersection of 222nd and 220th Street. Dalton rear ended Samatha who was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion. The estimated damage to the Ford was 700 dollars. There was no visible damage to the truck. Dalton was cited for a registration violation and following too closely.

8:02pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near S Avenue. Daniel Strum 42 of Carroll was arrested for operating while under the influence 1st offense.

11:09pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a domestic in the 800 block of West State Street, Jefferson.

11:09pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an OWI arrest. Tearra Hall 24 of Waterloo was arrested for operating while under the influence 1st offense.

Sunday, November 20th

2:10am: Daniel Strum 42 of Carroll was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense.

4:34am: Tearra Hall 24 of Waterloo was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
