The West Central Valley School Board met Wednesday night.

The meeting started at 6:45pm with an approval on a resolution for an expenditure of funds in the flexibility fund account within the general fund.

The organizational meeting then began at 7pm, where the Board elected Matt Pruitt as president and Troy Miller as vice president, named representatives for the counties that the school district entails, including Donny Teague for Adair County, Pruitt for Guthrie County and Jason Tiggs for Dallas County. They also set dates and times for the rest of the meetings for the school year, which will stay the same as they’ve been (third Wednesday of the month at 7pm).

The Board then approved the financial reports, open enrollment, mid term graduates, and the middle school trip to Washington D.C. Additional items the Board approved were appointing School Budget Review Committee members, ground/snow removal bids, and scheduling a special meeting next Tuesday to further discuss the quote on the HVAC system.
