ADM standout cross country runner Geneva Timmerman made a decision to run at the next level this past week, as she will be continuing her career at the University of South Dakota.
Timmerman was a four time state qualifier in her ADM career, which included getting 2nd in the state race as a junior, and was able to finish in the top 10 in the 3A level three different times in her career. She won multiple races throughout her career, and was able to help the ADM girls program qualify twice as a team at state. She also was a leader on and off the course for her team as well.
South Dakota competes in the Summit League in the NCAA, where they are a Division 1 program. They are under the direction of Nolan Fife.
Timmerman is projected to join the program in 2023, as she will be looking to find success at the college level in Vermillion.
