The Greene County School Board will meet Monday night.

Before the organizational meeting happens, the Board will consider for approval an amendment to a School Budget Review Committee for Limited English Proficiency that was previously approved, and they will hear administrative and committee reports.

During the organizational meeting, there will be an election for board president and vice president, along with their respective oaths of offices. The Board will then consider for approval its meeting dates, times and locations for the rest of the school year and committee assignments. They will also consider for approval school driving permit request, along with early graduation and fundraiser requests, two School Budget Review Committee applications for open enrollment out for students not on the previous enrollment count and English Language Learners for the weighted beyond five years mark. The Board will also consider setting a work session date and time for board goals with an Iowa Association of School Boards representative. The meeting will end in a closed session for a possible student suspension and/or expulsion.
