The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Girls Basketball  Head Coach Brad Baudler is excited for the upcoming season but also thrilled to have a senior as his point guard.

Sophie Dorsey averaged 4.2 points and 2.3 assist per game. Head Coach Brad Baudler says that Dorsey has been in the playing in his system for the last three years. Baudler tells Raccoon Valley Radio that he feels confident in the development of her game and that she can be a leader on the court.

“And she’s shown a lot of confidence this summer with her shot and being a playmaker and creating. So I’m excited to see where we can develop her from. Like you said, I’ve had her for three years, so as a freshman, you’re timid, you’re shy to being a senior, being confident in where we want to go. So I feel very confident in her abilities and what we can do with her. So I’m excited.”

Baudler also says that Dorsey will ball off the ball a lot this season along with being the main point guard. Mersadez Richter and Saige O’Brien will also be back this upcoming season as the top 2 scorers last year.
