The Panorama Panthers boys basketball team doesn’t start official practice until next week.
Before the season starts I sat down to talk with head coach Nick Peasley entering his fifth season with the team. We talk about last season and what’s to come for the 2022-2023 season.
One of the things asked was the expectations the team has for this season. Coach Peasley said, “Get better every day. That’s the reality of our program. Just striving to get better. We got some new faces that have not played basketball. Seeing what the kids could potentially do and help out.”
Coach Peasley would continue talk about the upcoming season. He mentioned his big performers from last season. “Our top three guys returning with Braedon Draper, Maddox Hammerstrom, and Braylon Dawes. Those three, they played significant minutes. Maddox played pretty much played the whole game all last year, every game. I have expectations of these boys coming in and being leaders. And doing some damage, doing some damage every single night out. And just getting better as the year progresses.
The 2022-23 season will start with a scrimmage against Keumper Catholic on Nov. 22nd. The first official game will be Nov. 29 against Greene County.
