Janis Hamilton, 76, of Jefferson, died November 7, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2023, with interment at the Paton Township Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Hamilton of Jefferson, IA; daughter, Jessie (Zach) Wilson of Bonaparte, IA; one grandchild, Emily Jane Wilson; one brother, Mark (Shawneene) Kenan of Moorcroft, Wy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
