The Adel-Desoto Minburn High School Football team will make an appearance under the dome at the University of Northern Iowa for the Iowa High School class 3A semifinal game.

The Tigers have a (7-1) regular season record with playoff wins over Grinnell (56-0) and North Polk (68-42) to advance to play Harlan Community in Cedar Falls. ADM Head Coach Garrison Carter says that getting to this spot needs to be celebrated after all the hard work that was put in by players and coaches in the offseason.

“I think we just keep getting better and better and our coaches are just phenomenal and it starts there and they do a great job of taking ownership of their position groups and, you know, being the resilient leader of that group and essentially, nine units strong on the field and all of them playing at their maximum level. And,so I think you have to start there. And then I think the other thing that I’d be remiss to not bring up is the weight room. I think it starts there and you just look at the bodies of our kids and the buy in and the weight room that’s happened in the transition that’s happened over the last five years with the coach group. And the weight room, I think, is a major reason for our success.”

ADM will play on Saturday at 4pm and fans can purchase tickets here. Raccoon Valley Radio will broadcast the game live on K107.9 will pregame coverage at 3:30pm.
