The Adel-Desoto-Minburn School District had 11 students selected for a prestigious event. 

The 36 Annual Opus Honor Choir Festival is approaching on November 17th and there will be 11 ADM Middle School students participating. Over 2,900 students were nominated by their directors for 720 positions in the four Opus Honor Choirs. Selections were made by a recorded audition. 

Students selected for this honor include eighth grade students William Beebe, Darragh McHugh and Laynie Pratt and seventh grade students picked were Lucy Allen and Andrew Nelson as well as Addison Carltrider, Dawon Foster, Nellie Hoodjer, Ellie Longman, Nathan Roorda and Langston Wilkins in sixth grade. 

The event will take place at the in C.Y. Stephens Auditorium in the Iowa State Center in Ames.
