November has just started, and already as of Sunday morning, all three counties in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area were able to get some respite from dry conditions.

Rainstorms moved throughout the area Friday and Saturday, starting early Friday morning and finishing up Saturday morning. According to the National Weather Service, Guthrie Center saw the least amount of rain, measuring 57 hundredths, while Perry recorded 78 hundredths, and Jefferson recorded 83 hundredths. All three locations usually see an average of 33 hundredths in the month of November.
