Last month the Guthrie Center School Board approved having a company come in to assess school buildings. Superintendent Josh Rasmussen tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the school board discussed having the Denovo Construction Solutions Group do a facility conditions assessment.

Rasmussen says that with the assessment, the school district would be able to put together a plan on how to maintain, improve and replace certain items on the school buildings. The district will be able to take a look at the funds they have in place, and see what can be worked on after the assessment.
