There are two more chances to see a performance by the Community Players of Greene County.

The British comedy farce, “See How They Run” is the fall production for the Players and one of the main characters is Penelope, played by Alexis Stevens, and she sets the scene for her character.

“So Penelope is a retired actress from America and she’s married to Mr. Toop, who is (played by) Josh Tuel. He is the pastor. Then a long lost friend who I think maybe is a love interest of mine, Clive (played by Wes Anderson) shows up and things go a little bit haywire.”

Director Chad Stevens says this play doesn’t really have secondary characters or chorus positions.

“Everybody is a main character. You wouldn’t have the show if you eliminated any one of these. There are some who are on stage a little longer than others, but everybody really has a major role to play in the show. Everybody is really doing an amazing job.”

The final two performances are tonight at 7pm and tomorrow afternoon at 2pm at the Greene County High School Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $12 and students are $7.
