Head Coach Caden Duncan has released the names of Greene County High School football players earning varsity letters for the recently completed season. The Rams were Champions of Class 2A District 8, top 10 ranked, and 8-2 overall.
A total of 31 players, or around 75% of those out for the sport, lettered. There were only five seniors on the team and all lettered including Norwegian foreign exchange student Bork Ersness, along with Patrick Daugherty, Richard Daugherty, Josh Janssen, and Jesse Miller. The 10 juniors lettering are Cody Allen, Logan Butler, Noah Cornell, Gabe Ebersole, Jack Hansen, Michael Rumley, Gavin Scheuermann, Trey Schilling, Gavin Trecker, and Jackson Turner. Lettering as sophomores are Marcus Ball, Crew Conner, Kendall Freeman, Patrick Graham, Bryce Habben, Camden Jacobs, Kamden Kinne, Nick Stream, Camden Strennen, and Braeden Turner. Adam Bills, Chris Daugherty, Phoenix Hartman, Keegan Lawrence, Nick Madsen, and Broc Stream are freshmen who lettered.
The full awards ceremony for Greene County football will be held in early December.
